Company Memo: Destination Photography, Deal Finders, & Free Printables

Who’s counting, but Christmas is only 17 days away! There’s no place like home for the holidays, but I am getting excited for a little trip we are going to be taking just before Christmas and am seriously considering using Flytographer to hire a destination photographer for my crew. Lorae may be using the same site for some updated family photos in her still-new city. We are in the zone where we need to be checking that list twice and knowing all the outstanding items we need for the big day. Emily Ley has a free printable library that can help! She has all the lists you will ever need to keep you on top of things for your holiday travels such as packing lists, holiday shopping lists, and a brain dump worksheet. There is even a spring cleaning list for the NEW YEAR, NEW YOU simplifying we all attempt to do.

Rustic, simple and natural decor seems to be everywhere right now and I have been following Jaxn Blvd for some time. This week their Instagram feed really spoke to me and I felt I needed to introduce them to you. I would love to smather my walls with inspirations to remind myself of the important stuff and even the humor life has to offer. These would make great gifts for friends and family, and are the perfect way to spruce up any room.

We all tend to have a weakness for Target but if you are watching the budget and trying to pick up some holiday finds for stocking stuffers or other small gifts, you will want to follow Target Deal Finder on Instagram. You will find everything from Q-tips to baby toys to home decor and their links will tell you how to save some coin by using coupons and maximizing promotions!. Let’s face it, we can all use a little $ help this time of year.

As holiday cards begin to begin to arrive, I am feeling the stress that we have not taken a family photo in a few years. Now that we live in Baltimore, we are over 3 hours away from our favorite photographer and haven’t reached out in our new city just yet. While following one of my Instagram favorites, I have found a great solution when I read about Flytographer. Through their site you can book a photographer in a destination city (domestic or international) that you are traveling to or living in. They have 4 packages to choose from ranging from $250 – $650 and all include rights to your digital files. Once you choose from your selected photographers you can then work with their concierge service and plan your shoot (setting/backdrop). This could be a great gift for your next family vacation so you can capture the moment.
